Want List & Offer Alerts
“Let me know when there’s a deal.”
We are planning a way to save products from participating merchants and hear when a relevant offer becomes available.
This feature is not available yet. This page explains the proposal. Want Lists, merchant demand reports and notifications are not active, and no launch date has been announced.
For shoppers
The proposed Want List would help you return to products that interest you. You would choose whether to receive alerts and could stop them. Saving an item would not commit you to a purchase.
For businesses
With shoppers’ permission, participating merchants could see interest counts for their own products without receiving shoppers’ names or email addresses. The merchant would decide whether to offer a sale and would control the price, dates and conditions.
When a shopper buys
The shopper would choose to visit the merchant’s store. Where an approved affiliate arrangement applies, LocalPro may earn commission on a qualifying purchase. Attribution rules, exclusions and returns would apply.
Local advertising and affiliate offers have different roles
We intend for participating non-affiliate advertisers to benefit from offer alerts too. Advertising pays for agreed visibility and tools; affiliate commissions relate to eligible referred purchases. Neither a saved item nor an alert would trigger affiliate tracking.
Any affiliate purchase link would clearly disclose that LocalPro may earn a commission. Final participation terms and supported merchants will be confirmed before launch.
The diagram uses illustrative prices and a sample shopper count. It does not show a current offer or guarantee a discount, product availability, sales or commission.
